Get MoviePass' Theater Subscription Without an Invite, This Week Only

Last year, we had invites for MoviePass, the subscription-based theater service. This week, the company is running a special promotion where new users can skip the wait list and dive right in.

From now until Friday, if you sign up for MoviePass, you won't be put on a wait list (which can sometimes take weeks or months to get through), but rather be signed up immediately. The price for the service ranges from $30-35 per month depending on your area.

It's worth noting that there are some caveats. For starters, you can only watch each movie once. You would not, for example, be able to go see Star Trek Into Darkness seven times. The subscription also does not allow 3D or IMAX films (you'll have to pay separately for those).

Finally, the biggest disclaimer is that you have to sign up for one year worth of subscriptions. You'll pay by the month, but if you cancel within the first year, you'll pay an early termination fee. You can get out within the first month, however, and simply pay for all the movies you've seen, or get a refund if you've seen fewer movies than the cost of the subscription would have paid for.

For the avid moviegoer, MoviePass is a pretty good deal, but you are committing to watching between 30 to 50 movies or so per year (depending on box office prices in your area) if you want to get your money's worth. Hit the source link below if you want to sign up, but be sure to read all the terms and conditions as certain fees may vary by region.
