RolePlayGateway?

The year is 2060; now-a-days, that fact is irrelevant.

The country used to be the most successful and powerful nation in the world; red, white, and blue flew snobbishly high over whomever had the misfortune to come across it. The United States of America was an idol of many, an enemy of few, and a father figure to everyone.

That was over fifty years ago.

Government officials declared it the Allied States of America, and was absolutely nothing like its predecessor. The flag still hung high, the fabric very much the same, but the meaning almost entirely disapated. Fake executives occupied the desks in the White House, the lot of them only thirsting for power and won't cease until they have what they wanted; they even went to the extreme of recreating the constitution the country was based off of. The whole nation revolted, and the whole nation lost. There was nothing but obedient, directionless slaves whom eagerly gave up their jobs, their money, their family, and their freedom because they were told it was 'for the greater good'. The president, along with every other high-ranking official (including the entirety of the military) were puppets to the ASA. Nobody was safe, and everyone was a victim.

The country re-emerged, a mockery of its former self; it was brutal, totalitarian, completely neutral to the outside world and cruel to all who reside within its borders. The ASA was born, a grotesque child of what once was once a beautiful creation, and there was no indication of it ever going back.

It's very generic and can be revised easily. I'm thinking there could be some rebellious group of some sort that could interfere the two characters and they somehow get dragged into the business or something. We can work out the kinks.

Also, as a side note, I'm completely new to this community, so it might take me a few days or so to understand everything. A little help wouldn't hurt, either, for a noob like me.
